Tumor-Associated Macrophages Facilitate the Proliferation and Migration of Cervical Cancer Cells

چکیده

Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are important components in tumor microenvironment. This study intended to explore the influence of TAMs on cervical cancer cells proliferation and migration. The expression levels markers, CD68 CD163, tissues were examined by immunohistochemistry increased with progression lesions (p < 0.05). M2-like phenotype (PMA(Polymethacrylate) induced THP-1 cells) noticed promote improve migration ability cells. These enhancements attributed secreting soluble physical contact between formation growth significantly faster mixed group SiHa than alone results indicated that interaction cells, including secretion contact, responsible for shaping immunosuppression microenvironments promoting cell

LncRNA Miat Promotes Proliferation of Cervical Cancer Cells and Acts as an Anti-apoptotic Factor

There are a sub-population of cells in tumor tissues known as cancer stem cells (CSCs) which have similar features with stem cells, including self-renewal and differentiation capacity. Recently, it was established that not only stem cells factors such as Oct4, but also ES-associated lncRNAs are contributing to various regulatory aspects of CSCs. Myocardial infarction associated transcript (MIAT...

Tumor Vascularization and Progression Migration of Tumor-Associated Macrophages and Suppress Engineered Glioma Cells Block

Angiostatin, a well-characterized angiostatic agent, is a proteolytic cleavage product of human plasminogen encompassing the first four kringle structures. The fifth kringle domain (K5) of human plasminogen is distinct from angiostatin and has been shown, on its own, to act as a potent endothelial cell inhibitor. We propose that tumor-targeted K5 cDNA expression may act as an effective therapeu...

Co-evolution of tumor-associated macrophages and tumor neo-vessels during cervical cancer invasion

Considering the crucial significance of the tumor microenvironment in cancer development and progression, the present study aimed to investigate the changes in macrophages and angiogenesis during the cervical cancer (CC) progression process from chronic cervicitis to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grades I-III (CIN I-III) to CC. This investigation included quantitative analysis and assessme...

Tumor-associated macrophages, multi-tasking cells in the cancer landscape

It is now well recognized that myeloid cells of the innate immunity infiltrating the tumor micro-environment, instead of halting tumor progression, favour the proliferation of tumor cells and their invasive ability. In particular, macrophages represent the most abundant leukocyte population recruited at tumor sites, from early stages till the occurrence of metastasis. Tumor-Associated Macrophag...

S100A6 promotes the proliferation and migration of cervical cancer cells via the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway

Cervical cancer is the second most common gynecological cancer worldwide and remains one of the leading causes of cancer-associated mortality among women. S100A6 has been reported to be associated with the development of many types of cancer. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of S100A6 on the proliferation, apoptosis and migration of cervical cancer cells and its underl...
